Drilling speed (PDV) is generally known to be one of the main factors influencing the cost-

performance characteristics of drilling. We have analysed the progress trends of drilling

styles and developed an original ejector device - near-bit ejector unit (NBEU) to increase

drilling speed. It can be used in rotary drilling, positive displacement motor drilling (PDM) and

turbine motor drilling. It is an anti-jam device.
